2026-2027 Student Parking Permit Applications open on June 8, 2026, at 5:00PM.
Parking on campus is a privilege, not a right, and availability is limited. Please carefully review the information below before submitting an application.
Student Parking Eligibility
Juniors and Seniors may apply for a parking permit. Priority for permits will be issued in the following order:
- Junior/Senior Carpools
- Running Start/WANIC students
- Seniors
- Juniors
Submitting an application does not guarantee a parking permit. Please note:
- Sophomores are ineligible for parking permits during the 2026-2027 school year.
- Students who live within the 1 mile walk radius of BHS may be ineligible for a permit.
- Students participating in a carpool are not eligible for a single-driver permit.
- Carpool riders must be enrolled at Bellevue High School due to the City of Bellevue conditional use permit agreement.
- Driving with siblings qualifies as a carpool if the sibling attends Bellevue High School.
- Students obtaining a license after permits are sold out may request to be on the waitlist.
Parking Permit Fees
- Standard parking permit: $100 per school year
- Free/Reduced Lunch students: $50 (contact the Parking Specialist)
- All outstanding school fees and parking fines must be paid before a permit can be issued, including fines from previous school years.
Application Requirements
Applications must be submitted online during the designated application window. No paper, email, or faxed applications will be accepted. Complete applications must include:
- Completed online application form
- Copy of current vehicle insurance card
- Copy of valid driver's license
- Parent and student acknowledgment of the Parking Policy
- Applications will only be accepted from students with a valid driver's license. Carpool drivers must meet the Washington State 6-month passenger requirement.
Important Application Information
Before applying:
- Applications cannot be completed using a mobile device.
- It is highly recommended that students complete the parking permit application before returning their school-issued laptop. While the application can still be completed from a home computer, additional steps may be required.
- Uploaded documents must be in PDF, JPEG, PNG, Word, or compatible formats (.heic files are not compatible).
Parking Permit Timeline
- June 8, 2026 - Applications open at 5:00 PM
- July 31, 2026 - First application window closes at 5:00 PM
- Week of August 10-14, 2026 - Students notified if approved or waitlisted along with date(s) to pick up their parking permit
- Week of August 24 - Second application window opens at 5:00 PM, if permits are available. Students will be notified on a weekly basis if approved or not approved
