OUTSIDE LEARNING REQUESTS
All Outside Learning requests for courses that students plan to take this summer should be emailed to bhsoutsidelearning@bsd405.org by Friday, June 27th. Use the fillable pdf linked here. Courses taken over the summer need to be completed Tuesday, August 26th, in order to be considered for advancement to the next course in a series and the transcript sent to our Registrar, Debra Andrews, at andrewsd@bsd405.org. See our website to learn more about the Outside Learning Process.
SCHOOLPOOL SURVEY
“There is only one week left to make your voice heard, by completing the Bellevue SchoolPool Districtwide Travel Survey! The City of Bellevue is seeking travel data on how students travel to and from school. Please help by completing this short, five-question survey for each school-aged child. This annual survey helps the city’s Bellevue SchoolPool program evaluate strategies for alleviating drop-off and pickup congestion at schools." The survey closes on June 13th.
Summer Resources and Information for Families
The Bellevue School District seeks to support our community through the summer months when students are away from our buildings. Please check back frequently to locate information about summer meals and grocery programs, summer learning, health and vaccination requirements, information from student technology services and more. We wish our learning community a safe and healthy summer break.
SUMMER SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION: FAMILY NOTIFICATIONS COMING SOON
The Transportation Department will email families of students eligible for summer school transportation between June 30 and July 6. The message will include:
- Bus stop and route details
- Information about Stopfinder, BSD’s new school transportation app
This is part of the early rollout of Stopfinder ahead of the full districtwide launch in the 2025–2026 school year. Only families of eligible summer school students will receive this communication.
Student Device Collection Update 2024-2025
On Friday, June 13, 12th grade students will return laptops, chargers, and styluses during their English classes. Their teacher will walk with them to the library, where a team will be ready to check-in the devices.
If seniors have any files, notes, or projects they'd like to keep, find one of the posters located all around the school and scan the QR Code for instructions on how to do this.
All other students, 9th, 10th, and 11th grades WILL NOT be returning their devices and can keep them for the summer.
Students not returning to the Bellevue School District this fall will return BSD issued laptops and peripherals to their schools.
More details can be found in the linked documents below.
WOLVERINE GUARD 2024-25 RECIPIENTS
We are pleased to announce that 141 Bellevue High students earned Wolverine Guard for the 2024-2025 school year!
All combined, these students undertook over 15,700 hours of service in our community! Each student volunteered over 100 hours for non-profit organizations and engaged in an amazing range of volunteer work from assisting with meal service and tutoring, to coaching, translating, sorting donated clothing, supporting animal shelters, mentoring young performers, and packing food donations.
In addition to benefiting those they served, this experience highlights the meaningful role our students play in the community while helping them build a stronger appreciation for service and the importance of active community involvement.
This year we had 18 Seniors (including 4 who completed all 4 years!), 51 Juniors, 38 Sophomores and 34 Freshman who earned the Wolverine Guard Award.
For a complete list of this year's recipients please go to - www.bellevuehighptsa.com/wp/wolverine-guard-recipients/

Summer School
Has your student failed a core academic class? Do you think they will fail this semester? BSD summer school is at Sammamish High School from July 8-31st. Registration is now open: https://www.bsd405.org/academics/summer-programs Summer school is only available for missing credit (i.e. grades of F, W), not for improving grades (i.e. grades of C or D). Students need a registration code from their school counselor. Please reach out to the counselor for the code, and reach out to the student’s current teachers for questions about their progress this semester. Registration fills up quickly, so act now to save your spot. It’s free!
Not eligible for summer school but still want to improve a grade of a D or C? One way to do that is to take a class outside BSD. More information found here: https://bellevuehigh.bsd405.org/counseling/outside-learning
