Registration for AP Exams 2025-26

Registration for AP Exams 2025-26

Hello Bellevue Families!

AP registration and payment are now available. The process, details, and a list of important dates are outlined below. AP Exam cost is $109 per test this year and payment is due November 10th.  BSD Scholarship Request form is available online through October 31st for students who are experiencing hardship and do not qualify for free and reduced. Those who qualify for Free and Reduced need to complete a “Consent to Share” form for their exams to ring up as $0.  Please reference the district website for relevant updates and links: BSD Advanced Placement

Contact Kayla Manteghi manteghik@bsd405.org with any questions.

Please have your student(s) complete the following:

  1. Create a College Board Account: Students must create a College Board account. This College Board support page provides help creating an account. If students don't remember their login/password, do not create a second account. Students can call the College Board student help line at 866-315-6068 if they are not successful with the “Forgot Password” help.
  2. Join AP Classroom: AP Teachers provided a “Join Code” to students in their AP class. Students must submit that Join Code in their College Board account. This gives students access to learning resources in AP Classroom and registers them for the AP Test online order system. Payment is required to order an exam. AP Exam Payment Tutorial.pdf
  3. Review AP Testing Schedule: Students should discuss plans for taking AP exams with family members. Find out if a college accepts AP scores for college credit or advanced placement (meaning students could skip certain courses in college) at the College Board Credit and Placement site. Keep in mind this year’s AP Test Schedule, May 4-15, to ensure that you can take the exams on the days offered. AP Test Schedule
  4. Pay for Exams: Families log in to Touchbase and use Shop and Pay to select and pay for AP tests. Be mindful that some tests have very similar names (Example: AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition), so select with care. Fee waiver eligible students will see a price of zero for all AP tests. The student's test order is not complete until they add the test to their cart, complete the transaction, and obtain a receipt even if no payment is required. See attached tutorial for payment help and to confirm registration.
  5. Students who are not enrolled in AP classes who want to register for AP tests will:
    1. Use Touchbase to Shop and Pay for the exams.
    2. Email a receipt to the AP Coordinator, Kayla Manteghi, ManteghiK@bsd405.org.  She will reply with the “Exam Only” Join Code(s).
    3. Student submits the Join Code in their College Board account. This gives students access to learning resources in AP Classroom and places them on the AP Test online order.
    4. Students will see the exam, including date and location of administration in their College Board account.

Payment is due November 10th, 2025. AP coordinators will reconcile the payments with the online AP Test Order.  Any test that is not paid by November 10th will be changed to “No exam ordered” in the student’s College Board account and will not be included in the order placed to the College Board on November 12th. November 19-March 12: Registration opens again, but at a late fee of $149 per exam. There will be no more orders after March 12th.

Refunds:  BSD does not provide refunds for AP exams cancelled after November 14 unless there are extenuating circumstances such as severe illness, family tragedy, etc.

Scholarships: BSD will support families who are experiencing financial hardship by reducing fees for AP Tests with the aim that no student is denied access to AP exams due to financial constraints.  Please complete this BSD Scholarship Request by October 31, 2025. We will process scholarship requests as they are submitted and we will email families with results.  If a scholarship is awarded, the school accountant will place a reduced fee on the Touchbase account of the student for the exam(s).  Payment is due by November 10.

Testing Accommodations: Students with a 504 plan or IEP who have testing accommodations should contact their counselor if they want to access these accommodations on the AP exams. All accommodations for AP must be pre-approved by the College Board. Once approved, the accommodations continue until the student graduates. Students should work with their counselor to request changes in accommodations before the deadline on January 16th, 2026.

Testing Conflicts: Students who need a late exam due to AP exam conflicts need to email Kayla Manteghi at manteghik@bsd405.org  after November 14th. Failure to identify testing conflicts before March 12th will result in no late exam ordered and no refund.
