BREADCRUMB

2024 Curriculum Nights

students in school common area, seated, mingling, and walking

Starting in mid-September and running through mid-October, every BSD school will hold a curriculum night for families. Curriculum nights are educational open houses where families can receive critical information that will benefit their students’ learning throughout the year.

The format of each school’s curriculum night will be unique, but families can expect schools to provide:

  • Presentations on curriculum
  • Routines and expectations
  • Resources to support students

Why Should Families Plan to Attend?

Curriculum nights provide families the opportunity to see firsthand what their students will learn during the school year. Families will get overviews of:

  • Teacher expectations
  • Important dates for field trips and classroom events
  • Homework expectations
  • Information on how teachers will communicate with families throughout the year

Beyond the details of learning, curriculum nights also provide unique opportunities for families to get familiar with their students’ learning environment. Families can spend time in the spaces where students spend a large part of their day! School events provide families the opportunity to connect with each other, find ways to get involved at the school, and support their student’s learning.

2024 Curriculum Night Dates

Check the district events calendar for the date of your school’s curriculum night. Each school will send out specific information with event details. Visit your school or the district calendar to get date and time information for curriculum nights.
